Leaders Looking to Curb Emissions Should Focus on Transportation, Not Energy Choice

When it comes to reaching our emissions reduction goals, current legislation is focused largely on reducing electricity emissions. Great strides have been made in the utility sector, but much less attention has been given to the transportation sector, which accounts for more than 50% of today's greenhouse gas emissions. Community leaders like Peder Norby are calling on legislators to address emissions responsibly and asking questions like whether solution in the electricity might help solve our transportation emissions problem as well.
