facts about CCA

What is CCA?

Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) is an energy procurement model whereby local governments purchase energy on behalf of their constituents. CCAs provide customers with a choice of renewable energy options and utilities deliver the energy to residences and businesses.

If properly implemented, CCAs can produce numerous public benefits. But CCAs also bring significant risks, so it is important to move forward in a fiscally responsible manner that ensures we reduce greenhouse gas emissions in a way that protects families and businesses and grows our economy.
